15 riders raise funds for Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity
The Habitat 500 is a huge fundraising event for Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity. Each year, a team of riders participates in the 7-day, 500-mile bike ride. This year, 15 riders raised funds for Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity. Up to 135 riders participate in the event, raising funds for their local Habitat for Humanity.
The 2017 ride went through Central Minnesota with a 2-night stop in Sauk Rapids for bike.home where riders worked at our Build for Unity project. This year’s ride, July 9-15, stopped in Victoria, Hutchinson, Sauk Rapids, Forest Lake, and Cannon Falls.
Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity has 15 riders registered to raise funds for Central Minnesota. Those riders were: Steve Wisniewski-Grzybowski, Shaun Rowley, Loretta Anderson, Jim Parsons, Michaela Roske, Mark Huseth, Jon-Scott Johnson, Lucy Thomas, Mike Dorle, Bea Winkler, Bobby Youngdahl, Steve Reetz, Lynn Schurman, Matt Chapman, and Eileen Bitzan.
