Vince Drobniak

Vince Drobniak received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Penn State University and his Masters of Business Administration from Adelphi University in New York, where he majored in Banking and Finance. He currently is the Chief Risk Officer for Northland Capital Financial Services LLC in St Cloud. A Vietnam Veteran, he served in the United States Marine Corps.

Vince has been volunteering with the Habitat for Humanity for many years, starting back from when he lived in Pennsylvania and was helping on house builds. Since moving to Minnesota in 2011, Vince has worked numerous hours at the ReStore in St Cloud. You will find him there on most Saturday afternoons helping customers and working in the donation and loading areas. Skillful with tools and knowing construction materials, he has helped many a customer with their questions on finding what they need for home improvement or a project. On business trips, Vince has found time to help Habitat in projects in other states.

Vince believes that the ReStore is a valuable source for the local community for both the giving of donations and purchasing used and sometimes new items at a reasonable price. The proceeds help provide funds for affordable housing for families in need in the surrounding communities. Vince has worked with many of those applicants working for a home as they spend time in the ReStore learning and giving their time. As a Board member, Vince can add valuable insight on what he observes at the ReStore and his business management experience.

Vince is very active and likes to spend his off time hiking or kayaking the many trails and lakes in Minnesota. He ran in the first Mudman run at Powder Ridge.

Michaela Roske

Michaela began volunteering as a way to get her confirmation students involved in the community.  Although many of them are too young, Michaela has continued to volunteer whenever she can.  She has also participated in the Habitat 500 bike ride.  You’ll often find her biking to the construction site(s) or events whenever the weather allows. Michaela enjoys volunteering with Habitat because she sees the importance of building community, educating people in the world of house construction, and raising awareness of the needs of low-income families in the area.

She especially loves Habitat’s concept of giving a “hand up” instead of a “hand out.”  When she’s not busy volunteering with Habitat, Michaela stays busy biking, working with kids, being active in committees & events at her parish, or teaching Spanish or coaching Enrichment programs during the school year.

Mishon Bulson

Mishon Bulson graduated from St. Cloud State University (SCSU) with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. She has always had a strong interest in CMHFH and is excited to be serving on the Board of Directors. Mishon respects the mission of CMHFH and believes it is invaluable to our community and the families that live in it.

Mishon works at Catholic Charities as a Community Counseling Manager. She has worked in the field of Human Services for over 18 years. Mishon also serves on the SCSU Alumni board and is currently in her second term. Her other interests include: sewing, sports (hockey and baseball) furniture repair, and home decorating.

Steve Flynn

Steve was an Industrial Arts teacher before going into sales for 25 years and after he retired he didn’t want to sit around and wanted to put his construction background to good use.  Having heard many good things about Habitat for Humanity, he decided to volunteer.  Meeting the new homeowners and all the wonderful volunteers made volunteering as a construction supervisor a fun and life-changing experience.  Steve has a wonderful and supportive wife named Margo and three grown children named Kelsey, Ryan and Jenna.

Lisa Lindgren

Dr. Lisa Lindgren is an Associate Professor at the College of Saint Benedict/St. John’s University teaching undergraduate marketing and other management courses.  Her marketing expertise stems from her education, but also from her extensive background in the business sector.  She enjoys working with the students and showing them how to best utilize their education as they enter the workforce.

Lisa was first exposed to the mission of Habitat when her father was a volunteer in the Twin Cities for several years.  Now, as the newest member of the Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, she will bring her passion and expertise to help Habitat continue to grow and be more effective in the mission of providing affordable housing for those in need in the community.

Dee Rengel

Dee Rengel of Rengel Printing has served on the CMHFH Board for 2 years. Dee has a diverse career experience, starting with working at Fandel’s in the early 1960s doing window and inside design. She then moved out to beautiful California and worked for Campbell’s Department Store and two airline credit unions. After returning to Minnesota, Dee worked with Smith Distributing and Plaza Park Bank before she was recruited by her husband to work at Rengel Printing in 1978.

At Habitat, Dee has been a great supporter of Women Build and all around Habitat ambassador. Dee is incredibly active in her community. In addition to serving on the CMHFH Board of Directors, Dee serves on the location committee for the St. Cloud area Chamber of Commerce, is an ambassador for Catholic Charities, and volunteers each year with the American Cancer Society’s Stride Walk.

Chad Roggeman

Chad Roggeman received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Speech Communications from St. Cloud State University and his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law. Chad is an attorney in private practice with the law firm Rajkowski Hansmeier, Ltd. of St. Cloud.  He has offered personable and specialized estate planning for clients since 1998 and developed a strong practice emphasizing all aspects of estate planning (including charitable, gift, farm succession, and business succession), business law, probate (estate and trust administration), wills, trusts, guardianships and conservatorships.  Chad and his wife, Paula, reside in St. Cloud with their four children.

Sister Pat Ruether

Sister Pat (pictured left with Sister Lucinda Merick at the 2014 Nun Banquet) has been a member of Saint Benedict’s Monastery for 45 years. She has been a home economics teacher, food service director and dietitian in healthcare settings. Sister Pat currently works in the monastery’s development and communications office. Sister Pat served on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities for six years and was board chair. Sister Pat just finished six year as a member of the St. Joseph’s Farmer’s Market Board of Directors and is in her second year as a member of the Board of Trustees for the College of Saint Benedict.

About serving with Habitat… “It is a gift to partner with another ministry that specializes in affordable housing issues. If there is some way to be a small part of this effort, I feel I have been part of a ministry that directly touches the lives of others. The volunteers and staff are dedicated, spirit-filled people, building a stronger community and making a positive impact on the lives of others.”

Pat likes the outdoors and activities related. She gardens, reads cookbooks, cooks and tries all kinds of food preservation. She says, “I am a “foodie” in my own way!” Helping others when time and energy is available is important to Sister Pat – in her own monastery or in the broader community.

Tom St. Hilaire

Tom St. Hilaire, CFA, CFP, CLU, is a Partner of the Mahowald Insurance Agency and President of Mahowald Financial Partners.  He grew up in Monticello, and graduated as valedictorian from the Monticello High School in 1992.  Tom went on to attend Yale University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Ethics, Politics, and Economics.

After Yale, Tom moved to Boston, where he worked as a Management Consultant for Monitor Company, and later as a Vice-President in charge of Operations and Strategy for John Hancock.   Tom and his family then moved back to Minnesota, and in 2005 Tom joined his father at Employer Benefits, Inc. as a Financial Advisor.

In 2009, after buying out his father, Tom merged his financial planning firm into the Mahowald Insurance Agency, where he currently provides advice to individuals and businesses on how to plan and prepare for Death, Disability, and Accumulation goals.

Tom, Lexy, William, and the twins (Benjamin and Elizabeth) live in south St. Cloud.

Wilbur Wilkens

Born and raised on a farm near Decorah, Iowa, Wilbur graduated with a degree in Farm Operations from Iowa State University.  He served in the military as a Hawk Missile radar operator and was employed in retail sales and retail sales management for most of his career.

Wilbur is a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, St. Joseph, Minnesota and is currently serving on Church Council as treasurer and is on the Property and Finance committees.  Has been volunteering with Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity for many years; was co-chair of the St. Joseph Habitat for Humanity building project and is on the CMHFH construction committee. Wilbur is serving on the Board of Western Stearns County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in the position of Treasurer.

Wilbur enjoys photography, travel with his wife, spending time with his two daughters and son-in-law and getting together with friends and family.
