Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity
Full Position Description
Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity (CMHFH) gathers communities to transform lives through affordable homeownership. Headquartered in St. Cloud, MN, we serve Stearns, Benton, Sherburne and Wright Counties. Working in partnership with our staff and volunteers, qualified low-income families purchase safe, decent, affordable homes after earning “sweat equity” and attending home owner education classes. The homes are built with volunteer labor and donations from the community.
A division of CMHFH, the ReStore is a retail outlet open to the public selling donated high quality used and surplus building materials, home improvement supplies, appliances, furniture and other items—all sold at a fraction of normal prices. A significant part of the operation is conducted by volunteers. Profits from the ReStore support CMHFH’s mission and programs. The ReStore facilitates reuse, minimizes landfill waste, provides low-cost home improvement items, and increases Habitat’s visibility in our community. Reporting directly the ReStore Manager of the Day, the ReStore Cashier will ensure smooth customer sales transactions and quality customer service delivered in a hospitable, safe, clean retail environment. As needed, the ReStore Cashier will assist with other facets of retail operations.
