Abdirahman Hussein and Fatuma Barre Family

When asked about their new home, Fatuma Barre and Abdirahman Hussein said, "A colorful house it will be."
Fatuma and Abdirahman have six children: their son Mohamed, five daughters Maryan, Maymoon, Muniro, Mulki and Hamdi and son-in-law Fahim. The number one goal for the family is education. Mohamed has graduated college and is working full time as a Social Worker, Maryan is a student at St. Cloud State and Maymun is a student at St. Cloud Technical College. The three youngest daughters are 15, 13 and 11 and attend St. Cloud area schools. Prior to coming to the United States Abdirahman was a lawyer and Fatuma was a midwife. He would like to go back to school once the kids have finished.
They have been in the St. Cloud area for five years are excited about owning a home where their entire family can live together. They enjoy spending time together, whether it's sharing a meal or just talking with each other.
Fatuma and Abdirahman are looking forward to learning how to be responsible homeowners through the education classes but like most people, are most nervous about what would happen if they were to lose their jobs.
Fatuma, Abdirahman and their family would like to thank everyone who has helped them become homeowners! "Our gratitude towards them is unwordable. We are very blessed to have had this opportunity. We are excited for what lies ahead of us in the future."
