Women Build celebrates women working together in building community. Women Build provides women of all ages and abilities the opportunity to come together to build not just homes, but friendships and networks, personally and professionally. Women Build rallies around a Habitat for Humanity partner family who is working on the necessary steps to homeownership. Women who choose to get involved learn about issues of affordable housing in our community, get to know and work alongside a partner family, and directly support the build through gifts of cash and volunteering. Opportunities abound for corporate sponsorship, individual and group giving, and volunteering. Women who are interested in learning a skill may choose to get involved in the construction of a Habitat home, but there are many other ways to get involved. Women Build brings together women from all walks of life to address in a concrete way the housing crisis that is facing millions of children. Women Build projects make the building process as accessible as possible, and provide an opportunity for women to learn, grow, and make an impact.
