We’ve had an exciting summer at CMHFH. Three of our partner homebuyers were able to purchase their homes!
SabreCON 1 was closed on May 19. Abdi and Ramla (pictured above) are excited to be a part of the Sartell community. As a family, they like to read, travel, swim, go to parks, and spend time with friends and family. They look forward to the benefits and responsibilities that come with owning a home. The children are excited about growing up in a home and playing in the yard. Abdi and Ramla believe in the importance of community, sharing and the belief “we are all one family.”
Tiger 7 was closed on May 25. Mohamed and Ifrah are originally from Somalia and consider themselves blessed to be raising their children in the United States. Their family enjoys spending time at parks where the kids love playing on the swings and biking. They also like to spend time reading together.
Mohamed and Ifrah expressed their gratitude for the Habitat community and are looking forward to the dignity and security of homeownership.
Spartan 1 was closed most recently, on June 16. Fardowsa and Nusrudin are looking forward to the independence and space that being homeowners will provide for their family of seven.
The children enjoy walking, reading, playing sports, hanging out with friends, drawing, watching anime, and playing with toys. They are looking forward to having more than one bathroom for their family, being able to run and play without having to worry about bothering the neighbors who live below them and being able to get a pet cat.
We are so happy for these wonderful households to move into their homes, and we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supports CMHFH. Without your support, none of this would be possible.
